Agilysys, Inc, number 87 on the VAR500
2007 list, and a member of the S&P 600 index, recently completed
a Service Blueprinting project with AntFarm. Although already
quite advanced in their existing service delivery methodology,
Agilysys had a strategic interest in improving their Server
Virtualization implementation service.
Agilysys sought to enhance the value proposition
of their existing Server Virtualization practice to improve
the attachment rate of their professional services to product
sales. AntFarm conducted a Voice of the Customer
research project on Server Virtualization to establish what
customers really needed in the way of virtualization
services. AntFarm then assisted Agilysys in enriching
the architecture and feature set of their current offering
to provide a compelling virtualization service for the
market. The project concluded with the creation of
the necessary sales and marketing messaging to improve
professional services sales.
Agilysys was recently honored with the VMWare
2007 Americas Technical Achievement Award.
